How to Set Custom Text On Your IOS7 LockScreen

Here we are once again, softModders, it is time for one more impressive tweak for your iPhone, iPod or iPad which is running on iOS7. You sometimes definitely feel like changing your lock screen with a custom text rather than it saying “slide to unlock”? Why should not we be able to edit this? We’re not given a lot of freedom because it stands with our Apple devices.

I will show you the way to simply edit the lock screen text to mention no matter what you wish. For this purpose, you don’t need a lengthy process. You should have a jailbreak IOS device running on IOS7.

First of all go to Cydia which is already installed on your device. Then go to search bar button and search for “Lock Screen Tool”. This tweak is usually provided by “BigBoss”. So when you find it, you have to open and install it. Once this tweak is installed, restart your springboard. After that go to settings and scroll down until you find “Lock Screen Tool”. Go into this option. You will see a heading “Lock Screen Text” in this heading you will see two options “Show Text on the lock screen” and “Write Text”. You have to enable first option and you have to write the wanted text in the second option. Under that you will see a heading “Hide Button” in this heading you will see options to hide your camera button, hide time or date from lock screen and hide slide to open. It is your choice whatever you want to hide from your lock screen. Once you enable the option “Show text on the lock screen” your tweak will start working. Enjoy.
