At the start of the New Year, we reported that Motorola is planning to return to Chinese smartphone market by introducing and launching its three different smartphone versions including Moto X, Moto X Pro (renamed as nexus 6) and Moto G which is LTE enabled.
That anticipation is now officially confirmed today. Motorola hosted an exclusive event which marked its return to the Chinese market. In its official event, it launched the device to be introduced in China. The initial version of the latest smartphones which the Chinese consumers will be able to buy and enjoy is Moto X which is the 2014 Edition.
The announcement and launch of Moto X took place at the Hello China Event, by the president of Motorola, Rick Osterloh. He claimed that it is “the world’s best smartphone introduced in the world”. However, we do not agree with this statement as this smartphone has some issues including the low battery life. But it can be claimed as one of the best and the nicest Android smartphone introduced by Motorola up till now.
The price of the Moto X in China starts from 2,999 CNY ($479) and the phone will be made available for buying in early February. Its sister versions, Moto X Pro and Moto G LTE, is expected to be released in the latter half of February. Besides these three Moto versions, Motorola have also plans to launch Moto Hint and Moto 360 in China.
