The Sony Xperia M (C1904, C1905) is now seeing the firmware update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean through build number 15.4.A.0.23.
Are you owner of Sony Xperia M, then we have a good news for you that French telecommunications company, SFR, has approved the Android 4.3 firmware upgrade for your device. Even though the company is going to launch the Xperia M2 very soon, but the company hasn’t forgotten about owners of older devices.
If you’ve been using AT&T’s version of the Samsung’s waterproof Galaxy S4 Active, you’re in luck: Android 4.3 is starting to roll out in the form of an over-the-air update, which is a great sign considering it was left out during the initial S4 update timeline. Many owners were concerned about the update being delayed, along with the Galaxy Note 2 update delay, but it looks like AT&T is finally pushing it out to all users this week.
Over the weekend, reports began to emerge that AT&T had begun rolling out Android 4.3 over-the-air for the Samsung Galaxy S4.
After hearing some reports, we were able to confirm that AT&T has indeed pulled the update while they investigate some issues. There is no word on when it will start rolling out again, or what the exact issues was with the last update. We were told the update was on hold so Samsung and AT&T could look into “potential improvements.”
The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 has begun to roll out right on time, as promised by Samsung during the Galaxy Note 3 unveiling in September.
The first country to get the update is Germany, but other regions will supposedly be joining the whitelist shortly. German Samsung Galaxy S4 users can update both OTA or via the Samsung Kies computer software.
A road map for French carrier SFR reveals the months when the Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung GALAXY Note II will receive the Android 4.3 update.
Samsung’s Galaxy S4 will receive the latest 4.3 Jelly Bean treatment in October, while last year’s flagship – the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II will get their fix in November or December.
