Android 4.1 update for AT&T Motorola Atrix HD

Holding onto the Motorola Atrix HD for AT&T? Roughly five months after its release, the Motorola Atrix HD for AT&T got treated to an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The refresh will be available for download over WiFi and will offer the usual suite of new features that come as part of the Jelly Bean package, but it’ll also add Quick Settings and a few other enhancements to the mix.

This has been a good week for updates, as the Atrix HD joins the Verizon Galaxy S III and Sprint EVO 4G LTE in their Jelly Bean venture. Android 4.1 brings some nifty features to the table that include Google Now and its enhanced search, project butter, expandable notifications, and more.

The Motorola Atrix HD for AT&T is the carrier’s fourth phone to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. With a price tag of $49.99 on a contract, To check if the update is waiting for you, got to Settings – About Phone – System Updates.
