iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, the latest Apple’s latest smartphones are about to hit china. The Cupertino company has announced that the consumers in the world’s largest smartphone market will be able to reserve their iPhones, starting from September 17.
Reserve iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c online beginning at 6:00 a.m. on September 17 for pickup at an Apple Retail Store on September 20.*
Apple went to this reservation system in China after an incident in January 2012 when the Apple iPhone 4S was launched. A delay in opening the Apple Store in Sanlitun led to egg pelting and bottle throwing. Apple halted sales of the device through its own retail locations in Beijing and Shanghai for a long time period before going to the reservation system. Apple CEO Tim Cook is expecting a lot from the region which is why this is the first time that the Chinese launch of the iPhone will coincide with the phone’s launch in other major markets like the U.S.
The iPhone activation process requires you to complete a few forms. You can check out the source link to know more about the procedure.
