It certainly won’t be as gold as some iPhones, but a new report claims Apple’s next-generation iPhone 5S will be available in a new color for the first time since Apple moved from one color option to two on the iPhone 3G.
According to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will also be selling its iPhone 5S with a whopping 128 GB of storage. If the predictions from the analyst, who has been quite accurate in the past, turn out to be true, then iPhone 5S will be the second Apple product after iPad 4 to feature the massive storage capacity.
According to Kuo’s note, which was picked up by 9to5Mac, we can expect the following:
(1) the new A7, ARMv8 based AP (application processor), featuring a 1GB LPDDR3 RAM chip; (2) a sapphire home button with fingerprint sensor; (3) main camera unchanged with 8MP, but featuring a larger F2.0 aperture with dual flash lights; (4) new option for golden casing; and (5) new option for 128GB storage.
Kuo expects Apple to sell 35 million iPhone 5S handsets before the year is out.
