The Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone, which was launched during the MWC 2014 event in February, will reportedly receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update starting from December this year.
To be clear, this doesn’t mean that all versions of the device will see Android 5.0 in the next two months. The probable scenario is that the unlocked, international model is first in line, followed by additional regions in the ensuing weeks.
Android 5.0 also brings a ton of new features, such as
1- lockscreen notifications
2- multi-user support for phones
3- support for 64-bit processor
4- file sharing through Android Beam (a feature that has been present on Samsung devices for quite some time)
and lots more.
