The Nokia X, expected to debut as Nokia X6, is expected to go official any moment now, but there was still enough time for a final leak. Live photos of the phone popped on the Chinese social network Baidu revealing the device in all its glory and confirming the rumor that Nokia is also implementing the notch on its display.
The images were picked up by Nokiamob (via Baidu Nokibar) earlier today and reveal the handset sitting on a display table at an unnamed (presumably Asian) event. While we can’t vouch for the source of the information, it looks legit, and the device was tipped to launch in China today.
Hopefully, the Nokia X won’t be a Chinese affair, as the device does look pretty cool. We’ll report more about HMD’s new Android smartphone once it goes official later today, but rumor has it the phone should boast a 5.8-inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio, as well as either 4GB or 6GB RAM. Also, the Nokia X is supposed to come in two variations based on the chipset inside: Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 and MediaTek P60.
