Sony Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra Firmware Update

A new firmware update for the Sony Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra and the Z1 Compact is announced by sony via its official Twitter account. As we know that just before a month these both handset were updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean now there is a second 4.3-based firmware rolling out to both handsets.

Any Sony Xperia Z1 or Z1 Ultra users should be able to receive the new firmware update by connecting to Sony’s PC Companion suite. There is an over-the-air update on its way but it seems to be taking a while.

What new changes we can expact

As we can see in the tweet above the addition of an option that will allow users to tweak their respective device’s white balance.

we’re unaware of when exactly Sony will push the anxiously expected Android 4.4 KitKat update to its flagship devices, though rumors have, interestingly enough, indicated a late January/early February roll-out.
