T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 gets Download Booster and Kids Mode features

If you own Galaxy Note 3 and unhappy that your device did not get any of the features that debuted on the Galaxy S5, then you do not need to be disappointed any longer. According to phonearena an update has rolled out to the T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy Note 3 including two of the most touted features of Samsung Galaxy S5 such as Kids Mode and Download Booster. The initial Android 4.4.2 update had a software version N900TUVUCNB4, while this new one is N900TUVUDNE6.

Download booster uses both the LTE and Wi-Fi connections to speed up downloads. This only works for large files (>30MB) and for native apps. The other feature is Kids Mode To prevent Junior from buying $500 of games in five minutes, parents can set up a PIN number that can be used to verify purchases. There is plenty here to keep your average pre-teen entertained for hours.
