How To Update the Software for the LG G Flex to Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat

LG G Flex will receive an update to Android 4.4.2 “Kit Kat” Today, This news is released by AT&T’s support website. The device with the curved screen and the self-healing back, will be the recipient of a massive 686MB OTA update.

How to update

NOTE: All services (including emergency calls) will be suspended during the install.

Watch your phone for an update notification. Once the notification is received, you will be able to download and install the update.
NOTE: To manually check for the update go to Settings > General tab > About phone > Software update > Update now.
Your phone will start downloading the software update.
NOTE: The Software update requires Wi-Fi connectivity for download progress to begin.
Your phone will automatically restart once the new software has successfully downloaded.
When the installation has completed, a confirmation message will be displayed. Tap Done.

How to verify the update

From the home screen, drag down the notification bar, and then tap .
From the “General” tab, scroll to and tap About phone.
Tap Software information.
The OS version and software versions will be displayed.
